Loclicious® is a family-owned and operated company started by a Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Corporate Consultant, and Entrepreneur Kabi. We are a brand that creates All-Natural Haircare products for locs, loose naturals, and all hair types.
Our community can rest assured that we will not allow any harmful chemicals to touch their crowns. Our products are safe for every type of hair and race but work especially well for women of color with locs and loose natural hair.
We work hard to ensure that our products are free of parabens, phthalates, petrolatum, sulfates, mineral oild, PEGs, PVC, synthetics and other toxic chemicals you might find in traditional popular products on the market today.
Having used chemicals in my teens and early twenties, I developed spots of alopecia on my scalp and could only wear my hair in certain styles to mask the bald spots. I decided to go natural (from relaxers) in 2008 after I got pregnant with my first child. All-though I was free from relaxers, I was quickly sucked into being a product junky and realized that many of the products that claim to be for natural hair was anything but “natural”.
During this course of time, I went from being a meat-eater to vegetarian to vegan so I thought to myself, I should also care about the products that I am putting in my hair. Thus, the beginnings of developing my own all-natural haircare products.
I remained as a loose natural until 2016 when I started on my loc journey and later decide to loc my daughter’s hair thereafter.
We tested our product for 2 years with our family and friends and they encouraged us to make it widely available to others who desire to use products free of harmful toxins.
We aim to provide stable all-natural products that will enhance the health of your scalp and hair!
